Chronic kidney disease is a long-term disease, a progressive decline in renal function. Symptoms develop gradually and in advanced stages include anorexia, nausea, vomiting, nocturia, lethargy, chronic fatigue, itching, and edema. The general condition and working capacity of patients progressively worsens.
