Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the basic concepts of cognitive linguistics related to the process of mapping extralinguistic reality by native English speakers. It considers the linguistic ways and means of explication of the concept of "causality", structured in typical varieties of the corresponding frame, in which data is systematized and information about the concept under study is stored.
