Abstract

In this article, the concept of friend is analyzed ethnosociopragmatically, and the lexical units belonging to this concept sphere are studied comparatively. The language possibilities of the concept of friend are compared in terms of frames and gestures in Uzbek and English. The social nature of the concept of friendship is also subject to discursive analysis
