In this article, we will explain what poverty is, that is, in the world experience and, in our opinion, the definitions given to it, the reasons for its origin. Factors influencing the emergence of poverty, the general possibilities of overcoming it and the methods of measuring poverty in the world experience, ie by what criteria, its manifestation in agriculture, characteristics of the part of the rural population living in poverty we are talking about. And let’s take a look at the opportunities available in agriculture to get out of poverty.
