Abstract

This article is devoted to the problem of studying modern methods and techniques of teaching a foreign (English) language to students of a non-linguistic university. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the application of methods in the educational process. The effectiveness of foreign language teaching methods is considered, since it contributes to the formation and development of various abilities, skills, general educational and professional competencies that are significant for a modern specialist.
